NCASE NATIONAL AWARDS:
The National Coalition for Aviation and Space Education provides two national awards each year called the Dr. Mervin K. Strickler Jr. Aerospace Education Leadership Award and the Crown Circle Award. Read on!
Do you know of an outstanding organization or individual who has illustrated noteworthy achievement and contributions to aviation or space education, or perhaps an accomplished educator who deserves to be inducted into the Crown Circle?
We invite you to nominate one or more of these special candidates for NCASE’s Dr. Mervin K. Strickler Jr. Aerospace Education Leadership Award or the Crown Circle Award.
The Strickler Award recognizes those who share Dr. Stickler’s commitment to aerospace education through the demonstration of outstanding accomplishment to the aerospace field through education over a continuous period of time. The Mervin K. Stickler Aerospace Education Leadership Award was established by NCASE in 1995 to distinguish and honor excellence in aerospace education.
The Crown Circle Award is a special award for outstanding educators and education supporters who have shown leadership in their field or in support of aviation education objectives. Nominees are evaluated according to the following criteria:
• Demonstrated involvement in, and commitment to aerospace education
• Outstanding leadership in aerospace education, locally, nationally, or internationally
• Performance over an extended term (years), at a high level, and of great quality
Please take this opportunity to identify a person or organization deserving of one of these special recognitions.

Air Line Pilots Association Scholarship Program
The total monetary value is $12,000 with $3,000 disbursed annually to the recipient for four consecutive years, provided that adequate academic standing is maintained (3.0 GPA). Eligible applicants are sons or daughters of medically retired, long-term disabled or deceased pilot members of the Air Line Pilots Association.
